People seek power. Probably because they desire something that could make them happy.

It may either make a person good, or become destructive.

It may either make them, or destroy themselves; it is self-destructing.

Such is our hunger for power.

Such fragile people we are. Always seeking power. You can see them anywhere in the TV, influencing people. You can also them in large corporate environments. They were the CEO, Manager, President, Owners of a big company.

Sadly, we seek power because we just wanted to be happy. And most of the time, we believe that if we possess so much money, we would have much power to possess as well.

Let me tell you this: Money can’t buy happiness. But it can serve as a bridge in getting your happiness. So in some way, you are powerful if you have money.

Unfortunately, we see it that way. We desire power because we love to get our desires so bad. That’s all there is to it.

Others use it for passion. Others use it for self-mastery. Others use it for other unknown purposes. And probably others use it to correct their mistakes from the past.

Were we right to seek power? Or rather, does anyone have to crave for power?
